Albert Mellinkoff earned his masterís degree in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in Los Angeles, where he is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. In addition to his extensive work with members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender population, he specializes in treating mood and anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and behavioral and substance addictions. His integrative approach to psychotherapy encompasses aspects of psychodynamic, cognitive, systems, and existential theories and techniques. Mr. Mellinkoff is an active member of the American Psychological Association, the California Psychological Association, and the Los Angeles County Psychological Association.
