Our Executive Director, Robert Weiss LCSW, CSAT (Sexual Disorders expert and author of Untangling the Web, Cruise Control, Cybersex Exposed), trained for many years under the direction of Dr. Patrick Carnes – the leader in the sexual disorders field. No. Because these workshops are designed for sexual addiction and sexual compulsivity recovery, we do not work directly with spouses and partners. However we do have other programs that work with spouses.

What if I need more than a workshop?

The workshop does not provide intense psychotherapy or family involvement. For a higher level of care you should consider our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or speak to our staff about additional services.

Is this the same as 'therapy'?

Workshops are not 'therapy' but do provide essential tools for healing that many therapies do not. The Workshops consist of education, supportive group interaction, detailed written work and reading.

Can I get therapy while I'm there?

Yes, licensed professionals are on hand at all times. Personal therapy sessions can be scheduled at any time or multiple times. They are billed separately.

Will you contact my therapist or spouse?

When you will finish the week, you will have a written "Action Plan" that you may bring to your therapist or spouse to discuss your progress and direction.
