New Porn Creating Super-Libido

Super-escalated libido or cravings for atypical sexual activities that haven't been desirable before are some of the products, say authors, of a porn-saturated environment... authors, artists and other groups are building new levels of sexual interest and then feeding this interest with increasingly bizarre material. The results include addiction to sex or pornography, and even a seemingly opposite effect - the loss of sexual interest with real-life partners and deep sexual dissatisfaction for actual physical encounters.

Freedom Institute Launches Symposium with National Addiction Experts

Freedom Institute, an outpatient rehabilitation facility for individuals and families suffering from alcoholism and addiction, launched an agency-wide initiative focusing on reducing the stigma of addiction.

As part of this initiative, addiction experts from across the country will offer their expertise, beginning with leading sex addiction expert Robert Weiss LCSW, CSAT-S, who has been featured on the Huffington Post as well as expert source shows like Larry King. Weiss will headline the event with a full day of training for clinicians on September 14, 2012.
