The Sexual Recovery Institute's Evening Intensive Program coming up September 7th

Taking that first step toward recovery from sexual addiction may literally involve taking that first step into a group meeting. While intimidating to many people living with sexual addiction, walking in to that first meeting can open the door to long-term recovery. However, that can be a very difficult step to make for many individuals.

Freedom Institute Launches Symposium with National Addiction Experts

Freedom Institute, an outpatient rehabilitation facility for individuals and families suffering from alcoholism and addiction, launched an agency-wide initiative focusing on reducing the stigma of addiction.

As part of this initiative, addiction experts from across the country will offer their expertise, beginning with leading sex addiction expert Robert Weiss LCSW, CSAT-S, who has been featured on the Huffington Post as well as expert source shows like Larry King. Weiss will headline the event with a full day of training for clinicians on September 14, 2012.
